Preserve the Charm - A Land Purchase Campaign

 

In the Fall of 2023, a grassroots neighborhood group was formed to ‘Preserve the Charm’ in response to news about the dense development project proposed for the center of the Village along 6A, opposite the Village Green.

 

It was felt this location was the wrong place for a dense development, while also acknowledging affordable housing is needed in the town. The Village Improvement Society felt similarly. The 2 groups partnered together on their common cause..
